Where Rally Training Meets Real-World Precision: Super Stage Rally Training at the Vittorio Caneva Rally School
At Vittorio Caneva Rally School, our Gravel Rally Training progression is meticulously crafted to build the skill set of every driver, step by step. After conquering Stage 1 and Stage 2 of our AWD rally training program, drivers earn access to the pinnacle of our gravel rally education: the Super Stage. This is where theory meets reality, and rally drivers are forged through real-world conditions on a Gravel Rally Training Special Stage.
The Super Stage is not just the final level in our AWD training, it’s a complete shift in environment, moving from the structured confines of our technical circuit to an authentic special stage. Here, we replicate true rally conditions to unlock a deeper layer of driver development, using our gravel prepared Subaru to mirror the dynamics of competition machinery.
A Real-World Training Environment
Unlike Stages 1 and Stage 2, which focus on mastering car control, driving dynamics, and vehicle balance within a closed, controlled layout, the Super Stage is conducted on a genuine gravel rally stage. This upgrade in setting allows us to tackle elements of rally driving that are impossible to fully simulate on a circuit.
Drivers must now manage changing grip conditions, react in real time to the terrain, and adapt their technique corner by corner. This isn’t a repetition of skills—it’s a test of adaptability, precision, and rally intelligence. Here, we push drivers to apply everything they’ve learned and elevate their performance to competition-level readiness.

Precision with Pace Notes
One of the key aspects we develop during the Super Stage is the creation and execution of pace notes. The ability to write, interpret, and act on pace notes is what separates a fast driver from a rally-ready one. Through guided runs and video review, we refine your road description and build your confidence in attacking a stage with full trust in your notes.
This is your first step into the reality of special stage rallying, where every call counts and your commitment to the line depends on your ability to read and trust your pacenotes.
Target View and Racing Lines
In our Super Stage, vision becomes a performance tool. We work specifically on view target technique training your eyes to look far ahead, interpret upcoming corners, and mentally pre-load the driving input. This increases your capacity to anticipate and respond to the terrain.
In parallel, we dive into the art of finding the ideal racing line on variable grip surfaces. On gravel, the line is rarely the same twice, and learning to find and adjust to the best line through ruts, loose sections, and polished surfaces is a fundamental skill.
Braking and Grip Management
Gravel driving is all about grip and in the Super Stage, grip is never consistent. That’s why we spend time honing safe braking techniques suited for high-speed sections and deceptive corners. Drivers learn to modulate braking zones based on surface feedback, effectively managing weight transfer to keep the car stable and responsive.
This training builds the instincts needed to recognize and respond to micro-changes in traction something only possible to fully grasp in a real Gravel Rally Training Special Stage environment.
Advanced Analysis with On-Board Video and Telemetry
To ensure every session is maximized, we utilize on-board cameras and data acquisition systems to analyze your runs in detail. Telemetry allows us to break down throttle application, braking pressure, cornering speeds and much mroe, giving a data-driven view of your performance.
With this level of analysis, we don’t just review mistakes, we uncover opportunities. Whether it’s identifying how early you’re back on the throttle or how consistently you hold your braking points, this toolset sharpens your driving with surgical precision.
Why the Super Stage Matters
The Gravel Rally Training in Special Stage is the most immersive and challenging part of our AWD rally driver development program. Super Stage training It’s where we train not just driving ability, but rally thinking. Every element, from pace notes to line selection, from vision technique to braking, gets dialed in under pressure.
Graduating from the Super Stage means you’re no longer just “fast.” You’re prepared. You understand how to read a stage, react instinctively, and drive with both speed and safety. It’s the kind of knowledge and experience that defines champions.
Whether you’re an aspiring rally driver looking to break into national competition, or a seasoned racer refining your edge, the Super Stage delivers the environment, coaching, and analysis to take your gravel game to the next level.
Ready to make the leap? Your Gravel Rally Training Special Stage awaits.
