Vittorio Caneva Rally School announces the new Rally Course for Drivers intended to deepen every aspect of driving the Peugeot 208 Rally 4. Thanks to experience of more than 30 years in the world of Motorsport and the 21 World Titles won by its Rally Drivers, Vittorio Caneva Rally School launches the new Gravel Rally Course for Peugeot 208 Rally 4.

The Peugeot Sport 208 Rally 4 is one of the cars of the moment. Thanks to its reliability, speed and ease of driving, it is one of the best-selling modern two-wheel drive cars. A worldwide success from South America to Central Europe, from Northern Europe to the continental borders further to the East. The 208 Rally 4 is an extremely valid and preparatory car for the growth of every Driver; a car that, if taken to the limit, offers great performance when compared to other classes as well.

 

The Rally Course for 208 Rally 4: what it is

The Rally Course on gravel for Peugeot 208 Rally 4 is part of the large PRO Rally Courses family of the Vittorio Caneva Rally School. Professional courses carried out with FIA homologated rally cars having the maximum development and latest updates. These are individual courses in which the driver is at the center of the experience. The know-how necessary to drive this type of car in the most effective way is fully shared.

The program begins with a reconnaissance session with a road car provided by the School. In this phase it is possible to focus on the pace notes, study the ideal trajectory, evaluate how the driver reads the road and interpret it. Once the work on the pace notes is completed, we move on to the driving sessions with the 208 Rally 4.

The Gravel Rally Courses of Vittorio Caneva Rally School have as their goal the driving technique, deep knowledge and improvement of the use of a proper rally car. The customer can provide his suspension setup to be applied to our car to work on it.

After each stint, adjustments are made to the vehicle (according to a program developed by us) to make the car faster and more demanding (changing the anti-roll bar and the clicks of shock absorbers). A spring change can also be carried out in the middle of the day. Briefing and debriefing are made before and after every stint.

The tires are under observation. They are chosen based on the surface conditions and to provide the customer with different sensations and performance increasing during the day. The customer will learn to choose and manage them. 

Among the objectives of this course are a deep knowledge of the Rally car, the development of a simple and effective pace notes system, the evolution of one’s own rally driving technique on gravel, the knowledge of the car setup and its development.

At the end of the Rally Course, the setup configuration used is released so that the driver can replicate it on his own racing car at home.

 

 

The Gravel Rally Course Program with the 208 Rally 4

The Gravel Rally Course program includes a fixed structure which is however adapted from time to time in a tailor-made manner to match the specific needs of any driver. This allows us to guarantee the driver the maximum and most effective learning speed.

The Gravel Rally Courses takes place at our Gravel Rally Training Center in Spain, 1h and 30 minutes from Barcelona (Spain). It is a totally private center for the exclusive use of the School for the conduct of Rally Courses on the ground.

During the day a pleasant lunch with typical local products (or vegetarian / vegan on request) is consumed in the main building.

We offer our customers on request hotel service, transfer from / to the airport, FIA approved clothing rental and helmet.
