Vittorio Caneva Rally School is now 100% Carbon Neutral

The School becomes the first in the world in the Rally sector to fully offset annual CO2 emissions

An important goal that the Vittorio Caneva Rally School has just achieved in recent days. The historic Rally School, known all over the world for having contributed to the training of 21 World Champions, has always stood out for the technical solutions and innovations that have been constantly introduced since 1989, the year of its foundation.

The eco-sustainability factor for a company is something that cannot be overlooked in 2022. Climate change is daily under the eyes of everyone and everyone, in his own small way, can make his own contribution to ensure that this trend slows down, is limited or stopped.

We are also witnessing the solutions that the leaders of world motorsport are adopting with a slow, and dangerous for us enthusiasts, drift towards forms of power that increasingly distort the vehicles that made us fall in love with this sport. It is for these reasons that we felt it was our duty to act and at the same time give a signal, a solution, working on an alternative that is ethically sustainable and acceptable even by purists.

Vittorio Caneva Rally School is thus now certified as a 100% Carbon Neutral company through a process that allows us to fully compensate for CO2 emissions so that the activities of our School, mainly carried out with traditional vehicles, have minimal impact for the planet we live on.

What it means to be a Carbon Neutral company

Through a certified emissions reporting system that every aspect of the company produces, it is possible to finance projects whose purposes are the offsetting of CO2 emissions annually emitted.

After an initial phase of study also aimed at reducing, where possible, waste and unnecessary emissions, the residual emissions were calculated on an annual basis. By joining the certified programs of Tree Nation, a leading company in Italy in the energy sector, Vittorio Caneva Rally School finances projects that have a strong social impact on local realities, the aim of which is to absorb an equal (or greater) number of tons of CO2 / year that the activities of the School themselves have produced. These projects range from the reforestation of small urban areas to large forests, to the preservation of natural areas, to the creation of plants for the production of clean energy.

Vittorio Caneva Rally School
