In Italy in 1989 there was no Rally School that was able to provide valid support to those who wanted to approach road car competitions.
The rookie was left alone, forced to learn everything on the field and paying dearly for mistakes and inexperience. Realizing this gap, Vittorio Caneva, official Lancia driver in the World Rally Championship, decided to make his experience available in the Rally sector, creating the Vittorio Caneva Rally School which, over time, has become a real point of reference for drivers of Rally both experts and novices.
Alongside Vittorio Caneva, drivers of great national and international standing have succeeded each other in the role of instructors, who have assisted and transmitted their experience to the school. For the students of the courses, Rally Driving has therefore no longer held secrets and continues to this day to teach current driving methodologies, suitable for modern cars, constantly evolving set-ups and tyres.
With 26 World and 10 European Rally titles, the Vittorio Caneva Rally School is the most successful Rally School in the world.
In 1998 the company underwent a great evolution with the carrying out of individual courses on real special stages which allowed the Vittorio Caneva Rally School to make that leap in quality which led it to be considered among the best in the world.
In the year 2000, telemetry arrived for the first time, the analysis of data in comparison means that the driving of driver at all levels can be monitored with centesimal precision, uncovering sometimes incredible implications and bringing undeniable advantages to those who frequent the School.
Thanks to this sophisticated method, many drivers from all over the world have entrusted the study and improvement of their driving to the Vittorio Caneva Rally School in recent years. Thanks to its techniques and teaching methods consolidated over time, the Caneva School is a unique reference on the global scene.
Since 2023, Vittorio Caneva Rally School has opened the division dedicated to Gravel Rally Courses, where the experience and working method are also applied to those who need to learn or improve their driving on low-grip surfaces. The know-how of more than 25 years of school at the service of the needs of every driver.
