Integrated Rally Program Across Gravel, Tarmac and Competition
The Sweden Project represents a fully integrated rally development program, combining on-site coaching, advanced training modules, and direct involvement in international competition.
Unlike a single-phase intervention, this project was built as a multi-layered structure, allowing continuous performance evolution across different surfaces, conditions, and competitive scenarios.
On-Site Coaching in Sweden: Gravel and Tarmac
The core of the project was developed directly in Sweden, working with the client’s rally car and team on both gravel and asphalt.
This dual-surface approach allowed us to refine adaptability, a critical factor for drivers competing at international level. Each session was focused on aligning driving technique with surface-specific grip conditions, optimizing car balance, and improving consistency across different stage profiles.
As in our other international projects, the work included:
- Driver and co-driver coaching in real conditions
- Setup development directly on the race car
- Data analysis and onboard video review
- Integration with the technical team
The objective was not only performance on a single surface, but the ability to transition efficiently between different rally environments.
Advanced Tarmac Training in Italy
To further elevate performance on sealed surfaces, the program included an Advanced Tarmac Course in Italy.
This phase focused on high-precision driving, where margins are reduced and accuracy becomes the key performance factor. The work concentrated on pace notes and line optimization, and maximizing grip through clean, efficient driving inputs.
Operating on dedicated tarmac stages allowed us to isolate variables and push the driver toward a higher level of precision, directly transferable to competitive rally conditions.
Competition Support and Race Tutoring
A defining element of the Sweden Project was direct involvement in international rally events.
We provided race tutoring support, working with the crew throughout the entire competition process. This included preparation, execution, and post-stage analysis, ensuring that performance gains achieved in training were effectively transferred into race conditions.
The support extended to:
- Coaching during pre-event tests
- Stage strategy and approach
- Real-time feedback between stages
- Post-stage performance analysis
This continuous presence allowed for immediate corrections and strategic adjustments, a key advantage in high-level competition.
Test Session Organisation and Technical Development
The project also included the organization and management of dedicated test sessions with the race car.
These sessions were designed to accelerate development, focusing on:
- Setup validation and refinement
- Correlation between driver feedback and data
- Structured testing methodology
By controlling the testing environment, we were able to work efficiently on performance variables that are difficult to isolate during competition.
