All
the courses held at the Vittorio Caneva Rally School are
set against the magnificent backdrop of the Asiago highlands
in the Vicenza Province, and are taught and co-ordinated
by the noted ex-driver himself. These courses last 3 days
and are geared to all those that would like to get

involved
in any motoring sport (rallys, historical cars, gatherings)
and those that wish to improve to driving capabilities while
benefiting from the use of high-performance cars in a safe
environment. The practical lessons, held in technologically
advanced vehicles, last numerous hours a day and the pupil
is able

to compare and discuss his performance with the
instructor(s) thanks to the use of a camera car and
telemetrie.
The theoretical part of the course takes up 2 hours of the
day and computers are used
to visualize film clips and animated examples. The pupil
, in this manner, gets to learn what is best at the wheel,
while still at the desk. Furthermore, Vittorio Caneva, has
had a vast range of experience in teaching, being a forerunner
(1989) to this type of highly specialized school. His experiences
as official pilot to Citroen Italy, Ford
Italy and to Lancia, have ensured the success of these courses
at in interntional level. Caneva has also in the last 4
years been on the teams Subaru, SEAT, Ford, and Hunday as
part o

f Piero Liatti’s entourage: the only Italian engaged
in World Rally. This has allowed Caneva to remain in close
contact with the ‘bigs’ of the World Rally
circuit and to follow all the frenetic developments on the
most sofisticated rally cars. In substance, Caneva has the
latest on driving techniques and skills, as well on the
latest technolgy, to pass on to his pupils in the school
that takes his name.
